Surrounded by forest on the quieter side of Levi, our adults-only guesthouse rooms and private cabins have all been designed by us with one goal in mind — to create calm, comfortable spaces where you can relax after a day exploring the Arctic.
Here, mornings begin with snow-covered trees outside your window, days are spent discovering Lapland, and evenings are for slowing down by the fire, warming up in the sauna or watching the Northern Lights when they decide to appear.

We are not a resort or a holiday village.
Foxfires was created for travellers who prefer to experience fewer places more deeply. We believe the best holidays are not about rushing from one activity to the next, but about slowing down, spending time in nature and creating meaningful memories.
Living here has taught us that some of the best moments in Lapland are often the quietest ones — watching the snowfall through a window, listening to the forest or enjoying a long hot sauna after a cold day outdoors.

Our individually designed guesthouse rooms and private cabins combine Nordic interiors, beautiful forest surroundings and thoughtful details that reflect our life here in Finnish Lapland.
Whether you choose one of our guesthouse rooms or a private cabin, you will enjoy easy access to ski slopes, winter walking trails, Northern Lights viewing opportunities and everything Levi has to offer, while returning each evening to the peace of the forest.
our accommodation in Levi
We built our guesthouse in 2020 and in 2024 we bought a glass-roof cabin which we completely renovated in the Foxfires style. In 2025 we designed and built our first bespoke cabin, Orava, and this year we are building its sister cabin, Pupu, both located close to our guesthouse.
We are surrounded by peaceful forest, with winter walking and biking trails just 300 metres away. At the same time, the restaurants, cafes and shops of Levi village are less than a ten-minute drive from us. So our location allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds.
During winter, the forest around Foxfires becomes part of the experience. Whether covered in fresh snow, sparkling with frost or simply standing quietly beneath the Arctic sky, it is a place to slow down and reconnect with nature. When conditions are right, you may even see the Northern Lights from your accommodation.

the guesthouse
Our guesthouse has been welcoming guests since 2020 and is home to two privately accessed, thoughtfully designed double rooms, with spacious en-suit bathrooms each created for two adults.
Staying in the guesthouse offers the comfort of a boutique hotel with the personal atmosphere of a family-run home. Every morning we prepare and serve breakfast ourselves, sharing our favourite local recommendations and helping you make the most of your stay in Levi.
Designed in a calm Nordic style, each room includes everything you need for a relaxing stay after a day exploring Finnish Lapland. Large windows look out towards the surrounding forest, creating a peaceful setting throughout the winter

Each of our cabins has its own character, but they all share the same Foxfires philosophy — thoughtful design, peaceful surroundings and attention to every detail.
Whether you choose the glass-roof Ice Cube or one of our newly built cabins, Orava or Pupu, you will find carefully selected interiors inspired by Nordic design and our life in Finnish Lapland.
Designed for two adults, our cabins offer privacy, comfort and a slower pace of travel, making them an ideal choice for couples, honeymooners and anyone looking to experience Lapland a little differently.
Ice Cube
Beautifully renovated glass-roof cabin, designed for couples who dream of sleeping beneath the Arctic sky.
Located just a short drive from our guesthouse on a street with similar cabins, Ice Cube combines a modern Nordic interior with the unique experience of a vast glass roof above the bed. The cabin also features its own private sauna and outdoor hot tub, creating a relaxing retreat after a day exploring Levi.
Whether you spend the evening watching the stars, waiting for the Northern Lights or simply enjoying the warmth of the sauna and hot tub, Ice Cube offers a cosy and memorable stay in Finnish Lapland.
Orava & Pupu
Designed and built by us, Orava and its sister cabin Pupu are the newest additions to Foxfires.
Located beside our guesthouse and surrounded by peaceful forest, these cabins have been created for guests looking for privacy, comfort and a deeper connection with nature.
Natural materials, carefully chosen interiors and a wood-burning fireplace create a warm and welcoming atmosphere after a day outdoors. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to help you slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of Arctic life.
Like all Foxfires accommodation, Orava and Pupu are designed exclusively for two adults, offering a peaceful retreat from which to base your Levi Adventures.
