When we first visited Lapland for a holiday, we tried out a Finnish sauna, as one does, to experience this famous activity. Although enjoyable, it didn't quite live up to the magical image we had envisioned.
When we moved to Levi permanently, the first thing we built was the traditional Finnish sauna with an outdoor hot tub and a Kota. Seeing that there was not such experience in Lapland at the time, we created what we imagined a truly relaxing sauna experience might look like - the very unique Foxfires Arctic Spa Experience.
We wanted to create a place that captivates visitors from the moment they step onto the snowy path, a place so magical it feels like a fairytale, a place where every detail matters, a beautiful sanctuary where one can truly embrace sauna culture and unwind.
As we completed the construction of our Arctic Spa, we enjoyed spending our leisure time in its serene environment, envisioning our future immersed in this Arctic lifestyle. Aggie often shared her desire for others to experience the same relaxation and joy we felt after a hot sauna session, followed by sitting on the deck in sub-zero temperatures without feeling cold, but instead feeling relaxed and happy while admiring the serene forest surrounding the Arctic Spa. And now, after so many years of welcoming our lovely guests to our Arctic Spa we are thrilled to see our dream become a reality. It's still hard to believe the overwhelming love our guests have for the place we've built.
We are truly grateful to all our past and future guests for choosing to visit us. Thank you very much.
